Sometimes you'll do whatever it takes...

...to get your kid to eat healthy foods.

If that means spreading dark chocolate over clementine wedges, then that's exactly what you'll do.

Just don't forget to make extra for yourself. These juicy little treats are impossible to resist!

That looks really good- To bad you can't put chocolate on vegetables. That's where the trouble lies with my kids.

Okay.. I am not going there yet. I am sure my day will come... but at the moment.. I have the twinners convinced those teeny tiny oranges ARE a treat in themselves.

Andrea, you might just be blessed with two good eaters and never have to resort to tricks! Rowan is a very cautious soul, and that caution extends to his eating habits. (Makes him very easy to parent in other ways, though!) For us, a wee bit of chocolate is worth the vitamin C that he'll get with it! ;)

Wow. You even have to bribe him to eat clementines. Those are one of the few "everyone likes them" things at our house!

He eats strawberries, raspberries, apples, raw carrots and sugar snap peas with no trouble. But a clementine has a combination of skin, stringy stuff and pulp that makes him a little leery. Maybe we'll wean him off the chocolate eventually...

I sooooo envy moms who are blessed with adventurous eaters!
