WW: We Watched Kyle Ride in the Tour de Cure!

Duathalon Duo

Earlier this month, Kyle and his sister, Courtney, participated in the Falls Duathalon. They competed as a team — with Courtney completing the running portions and Kyle completing the cycling portion.

By chance, they wore the same color shirts that day. And Kyle wore his new cycling outfit for the first time! Doesn’t he look cool? (I love how his arm is strategically placed in front of his ultra-tight shorts. ;)

Here's how the race went:

Courtney took off on a 2-mile run...and came back...

...and then Kyle took off on a 14-mile ride...

...and came back...

...and then Courtney took off on a 3-mile run...

...and came back!

Hmmm. I guess it was more exciting to be there.

And it really was exciting! Both Courtney and Kyle performed well, and it was fun to see them compete as team "Sibling Rivalry." Kyle placed among the top third of the cyclists, which made him (and me) quite proud.

When we arrived home, Kyle immediately began researching other racing opportunities. I think we’ll be busy at cycling events this summer!
